Limitations of Ocuserts
1. Patient Comfort:

Applications of Ocuserts:
The first commercially available ocusert was developed for the delivery of pilocarpine, used for glaucoma treatment.
The device could release pilocarpine at a controlled rate for a week, as opposed to conventional formulations which needed multiple daily applications.
