Cetostearyl Alcohol

Structure:

  • Cetostearyl Alcohol Chemical Formula: A mixture of cetyl alcohol (C₁₆H₃₃OH) and stearyl alcohol (C₁₈H₃₇OH).

  • Molecular Structure: Long-chain fatty alcohols, where cetyl alcohol has a 16-carbon chain and stearyl alcohol has an 18-carbon chain, each with a terminal hydroxyl group (-OH).

  • Geometry: Linear chain structure with a hydroxyl group at one end.

Uses:
