Manufacturer:
Any person or entity involved in the production, compounding, or preparation of medicinal or toilet preparations.
Distributor:
Individuals or entities involved in the wholesale or retail distribution of these preparations.
Licensing Authority:
Government bodies responsible for issuing licenses, conducting inspections, and enforcing the provisions of the Act.
Adulteration:
The act of contaminating or diluting a preparation with inferior or prohibited substances, reducing its quality or efficacy.
Misbranding:
Any false or misleading labeling or packaging of a product, including incorrect information about ingredients, usage, or benefits.
