Hexamine (Hexamethylenetetramine)

Structure:

  • Hexamine Chemical Formula: C₆H₁₂N₄

  • Molecular Structure: A heterocyclic compound consisting of a six-membered ring with alternating carbon and nitrogen atoms, where each nitrogen atom is bonded to a methylene group (CH₂).

  • Geometry: Cage-like structure with a tetrahedral arrangement.

  1. Antiseptic: Used in urinary tract antiseptics.
