Permitted Colors:

Primary Colors:

  • Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black, White: Commonly used for text and basic design elements.

Regulatory Colors:

  • Brown: Often used to denote specific categories or warnings.

  • Gold and Silver: Used for premium or specialized products.

Restrictions:

  • Avoid Misleading Colors: Colors that could imply unapproved claims or effects are prohibited.

  • Consistency: Colors should be used consistently across similar product lines to aid recognition.

Background and Contrast:

  • High Contrast: Ensures that text is easily readable against the background.

  • Non-Glaring Colors: Avoid colors that could strain the eyes or obscure information.

Prohibited Uses:

  • Fluorescent Colors: Unless specifically allowed for certain products.

  • Colors Suggestive of Specific Uses: Such as pink for all analgesics or green for all antibiotics, unless justified.
