  • Loxapine is a dibenzoxazepine antipsychotic, blocking dopaminergic receptors in the brain.

Uses:

  • It's used for the treatment of schizophrenia.

Side Effects:

  • Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, and dry mouth. More serious side effects include extrapyramidal symptoms and tardive dyskinesia.
