  • Molindone is an indolone derivative that works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain.

Uses:

  • It's used for the treatment of schizophrenia.

Side Effects:

  • Side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. More serious side effects include movement disorders (extrapyramidal symptoms).
