Birbhum District Health and Family Welfare Samity opened applications on 6 November 2026 for 12 contract Staff Nurse posts under NUHM and 15th Finance Commission health units.
Eligibility and pay
- Complete GNM training at an institute recognised by the Indian Nursing Council or West Bengal Nursing Council.
- Provide West Bengal Nursing Council registration or a WBNC provisional certificate. The notice also requires permanent West Bengal residence and knowledge of local languages.
- Age is 21–40 years on 1 January 2026, with the relaxations stated in the notice.
- Consolidated pay is ₹25,000 per month. Academic marks count for 80 points and qualifying hospital experience can add up to 20 points.
How to apply
- Open the West Bengal Health recruitment portal, then choose Staff Nurse under NUHM or 15th FC under NHM BIRBHUM.
- Register and pay the applicable fee by midnight on 25 November 2026. The notice lists ₹100 for General and ₹50 for reserved category applicants.
- Submit the completed form by midnight on 27 November 2026. Upload a clear photo and signature, and keep the registration number and printed application for verification.
