Central Jail Hospital, Tihar is recruiting 13 Junior Residents and seven Senior Residents on an initial 44-day ad-hoc appointment.

Main requirements

  • Junior Resident: MBBS, one-year internship and DMC registration. Check the internship completion-date rule and separate FMG provisions.
  • Senior Resident: Relevant PG degree/diploma; an MBBS-experience alternative applies when suitable PG candidates are unavailable.
  • Upper age: JR 30 and SR 45 on 29 October, with notified relaxations.
  • Pay: JR Level 10, starting ₹56,100; SR Level 11, starting ₹67,700, plus admissible allowances.
  • Application fee: None.

Interviews: 2 November for SR; 3 November for JR, at Prison Headquarters. Registration is 10–11 am.
