Clinical Research Pharm D notes become easier to revise when you understand the sequence before memorising the terms. Open the Clinical Research notes page and begin with the development topics.

Useful starting PDFs

Keep the broad development process separate from the details of clinical development. The matching subject page lists the other available topic files.

Organise a study in five steps

  • Question: identify what the study is trying to find out.
  • Design: explain how its structure addresses that question.
  • Measurements: record the outcomes or observations discussed in the notes.
  • Participant safeguards: revise the ethics and informed-consent concepts covered in class.
  • Interpretation: explain what the results can support and the limitations described in the example.

Use a process map for stages that follow an order. For terminology such as blinding or randomisation, write a short definition and a classroom example rather than memorising the term alone.

After reading, close the PDF and explain one stage from memory. Check your reasoning and add the missing points to a correction list. Return to the subject page for the next topic once that explanation is clear.
