Clinical Toxicology Pharm D notes are easier to revise when definitions, exposure-related concepts and individual topics are kept separate. Start with the Clinical Toxicology notes page to see the available chapter PDFs.

Open a foundation resource

Use the Management of Poisoning study PDF as the foundation file listed on the subject page. Read it alongside the teaching material for that chapter, and note the terms you need to understand before attempting a written answer.

Organise each topic under four headings

  • Agent or topic: identify exactly what the chapter discusses.
  • Exposure concepts: record the routes and circumstances covered in the notes.
  • Effects and terminology: distinguish the important terms and classifications.
  • Assessment and management concepts: outline the principles presented in your class material.

Use a comparison table when several topics have overlapping features. Keep the source topic name beside each set of points so that you do not combine unrelated material.

Practise structured recall

Close the PDF and write a short explanation using the four headings. Reopen the notes to check your terminology, sequence and missing points.

Make a small correction list instead of recopying the whole chapter. Return to the subject page to choose the next specific topic PDF for your revision session.
