D Pharm 1st Year notes help you build a foundation across pharmacy, chemistry, medicinal plants, the human body and public health. Open the FirstHope first-year notes page to choose a subject and find its available resources.

Your five subject pages

For Pharmaceutics revision, start with the Packaging Materials notes PDF. Use the subject page for the next topic rather than mixing files from different courses.

Connect theory with practical work

Keep definitions and short answers in one section of your notebook. Use another section for labelled diagrams, procedures and observations from your practical classes. When revising a topic, check whether there is a related practical you should review as well.

Try explaining one concept aloud, then write a short answer from memory. For anatomy, draw and label the structure yourself. For pharmacognosy, organise the details of each material into a consistent table.

The first-year page also lists practical manuals. Use them alongside your teacher's instructions and your own practical record, then revisit any steps you cannot explain clearly.
