LGBRIMH, Tezpur, is recruiting four Senior Residents in Psychiatry for the Wellcome-funded HEADS research project. The advertisement is dated 4 November 2026.
Eligibility and benefits
- Qualification: MBBS plus MD/DNB/Diploma in Psychiatry, or the recognised equivalent specified in the notice.
- Registration: valid NMC/State Medical Council registration; applicants must be Indian nationals.
- Age: up to 45 years at the application deadline, with applicable government relaxations.
- Pay: ₹1,38,659 per month, consolidated.
- Tenure: initially one year; possible extension up to 24 months or project duration, whichever is earlier, subject to performance and funding.
- Assamese/Bengali proficiency and psychiatric interviewing/research experience are desirable. This is a full-time temporary project role; private practice is prohibited.
