Medicinal Biochemistry Pharm D notes become more useful when biomolecules, enzymes and pathways are organised separately. Open the Medicinal Biochemistry notes page and begin with the Introduction to Biochemistry PDF.

What to organise first

  • Biomolecules: record the main groups, their features and the examples covered in class.
  • Enzymes: connect terminology with the process or relationship being described.
  • Pathways: identify the starting material, main stages and final products before learning extra detail.
  • Functions: explain why the topic matters within the system you are studying.

Use a consistent layout for your pathway notes. A clear sequence is easier to revisit than a page of arrows and terms with no explanation.

A quick revision method

  • Read one manageable section of the PDF.
  • Write a short definition or draw the main sequence from memory.
  • Explain the connection between two stages in your own words.
  • Compare your attempt with the notes and mark the missing terms.

Keep a small glossary for abbreviations and similar names. When practising a question, include the explanation as well as the diagram so that your answer shows how the points connect.

Return to the subject page for the next available topic PDF. Review your correction list before moving into a longer pathway or a new chapter.
