PGIMER Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: 143 Posts, Apply by 13 November

PGIMER is recruiting 143 Senior Residents: 122 at Chandigarh and 21 at its Sangrur Satellite Centre. The recruitment was reported on 20 October; the employer’s notice and application opening are dated 16 October 2026.

Key details

• Eligibility: Recognised medical qualification, registration and the relevant MD/MS or equivalent specialty qualification. Dentistry vacancies have their separate dental registration and MDS requirements.
• Important: MBBS alone does not meet the general Senior Resident qualification; use your department’s exact table.
• Pay: Level 11, minimum ₹67,700 plus NPA as applicable.
• Age: Up to 45, with prescribed relaxations.
• Deadline: 13 November 2026, 11:55 pm.
• Selection: CBT scheduled for 5 December, followed by the notified interview/assessment process.
• Fee: ₹800 for SC/ST; ₹1,500 for other fee-paying categories, plus transaction charges. PwBD applicants are exempt.
