Pharm D 1st Year notes help you build the foundation for later subjects. Open the FirstHope Year 1 notes page and keep a separate folder for each subject.
Your first-year subjects
- Human Anatomy and Physiology notes
- Pharmaceutics notes
- Medicinal Biochemistry notes
- Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry notes
- Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry notes
- Remedial Mathematics / Biology notes
Start with the Scope of Anatomy and Physiology PDF or the Introduction to Biochemistry PDF. Choose the one that matches your current lecture topic.
A simple three-step routine
- Understand: read one short section and note any terms you need to clarify.
- Reproduce: close the PDF and draw a labelled structure, explain a concept or write a short answer.
- Correct: compare your attempt with the notes and record the points you missed.
For chemistry, keep a clear list of symbols, structures and unfamiliar terms. For anatomy, practise the labels yourself rather than only looking at completed diagrams. Connect theory topics with the relevant practical manual and your class record where available.
Review your correction list the next day. A small topic you can explain confidently is a better starting point than several downloaded files you have not studied.
