Pharm D 2nd Year notes connect foundation science with disease mechanisms, drug action and pharmacy practice. Use the FirstHope Year 2 notes page to find the correct subject before choosing a PDF.
Open your subject
- Pathophysiology notes
- Pharmaceutical Microbiology notes
- Pharmacognosy and Phytopharmaceuticals notes
- Pharmacology I notes
- Community Pharmacy notes
- Pharmacotherapeutics I notes
Begin with the Cell Injury and Adaptation PDF for Pathophysiology, or the General Pharmacology PDF for Pharmacology I.
Keep revision focused
- Separate the concepts: distinguish a disease mechanism from the action of a drug.
- Choose a format: use a flowchart for a process and a comparison table for similar groups.
- Add examples: use the examples covered in your notes and lectures.
- Attempt an answer: explain one topic without copying the PDF, then correct your gaps.
For microbiology and pharmacognosy, add labelled diagrams or consistent identification tables where useful. For Community Pharmacy, summarise the purpose and scope of each topic before learning its details.
Keep all six subjects in your weekly plan, and revisit your correction list at the start of each session. The year page remains a convenient starting point for the next topic.
