Pharm D 5th Year notes help you organise topics in research, population-level medicine use and clinical pharmacokinetics. Start with the FirstHope Year 5 notes page and keep the three subjects in separate sections of your revision folder.
Open your subject resources
- Clinical Research notes
- Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics notes
- Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacotherapeutic Drug Monitoring notes
Use the Drug Development Process PDF for Clinical Research. For clinical pharmacokinetics, open the Introduction to Clinical Pharmacokinetics PDF.
Three tasks for focused revision
- Research: map a study's question, design, measurements and interpretation. Explain each element before adding examples.
- Pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics: distinguish outcomes, costs and comparisons. Record the assumptions used in a worked example.
- Clinical pharmacokinetics: connect the meaning of each parameter with the relationship or graph you are studying.
Keep a terminology sheet for similar words that appear across the subjects. Add a short example from your teaching material so that each definition remains meaningful.
After reading, attempt one structured answer or calculation without looking at the solution. Check the reasoning and units where relevant, then write down what needs another review. Return to the year page when you need the next subject or topic PDF.
