Vijayanagara NHM Block Epidemiologist Recruitment 2026 — 1 Post

The Vijayanagara District Health and Family Welfare Society published its contractual NHM recruitment notice on 7 November 2026. The district lists one Block Epidemiologist post under the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP).

Eligibility and pay

• Medical route — A medical degree and a postgraduate degree or diploma in preventive and social medicine, public health or epidemiology.
• Nursing route — B.Sc Nursing with one of the listed postgraduate public health or epidemiology qualifications, such as an MPH in Epidemiology. The notice also lists other eligible routes.
• Age and pay — Upper age limit of 45 years and consolidated pay of ₹30,000 per month. See the notice for the computer literacy certificate and other requirements.
