  • Broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Side Effects

  • Nausea, vomiting, hypersensitivity reactions.
  • Crystalluria, risk of renal damage (hydrate well).
  • Photosensitivity, hematologic toxicity.
