Uses of Pyrimethamine Treatment of malaria (in combination with sulfadoxine → Fansidar®). Toxoplasmosis treatment (in combination with sulfadiazine). Side Effects Megaloblastic anemia (due to folate depletion). Hypersensitivity reactions, hepatotoxicity.
